Push your hair back, bit by bit.
– ša‘rātič = this is a Bedawi song so the personal pronoun suffix for “you fem.” is “-ič”
– ردي = from ردّ، يردّ = “to reply, to obey; to return; to place back, pull back, etc”
- خلي شعراتك لراسي مخدة
khalli ša‘rātič, la-rāsi mkhadda
Leave your hair for my head as a pillow.
– خلّى، يخلّي = to let, to leave; to stay

– يللي = Fuṣḥā الذي

– نعنوعة = diminuitive of نعناعة
– بي = father (not really used in Jordan, more in Syria and Lebanon – from Turkish “bey” = “mister”)

– عصملي = from عصمانلي (Ottoman)
